Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised there. She became a TV host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her older sister Frankie suffering from the disease of polio. Growing up, she had difficulties to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl alleges that, at one point when her mother stabbed her father after he became close to Her. Following her college graduation Sheryl became a military officer. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 appearing as a frequently performing performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as a host on the TV program Oh Drama! She is currently a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. Additionally, she's appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series like Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
