Harvey Welker (a Native American father) and Julie Welker (an African-American mom). She has a Native American father and an African-American mother. Her graduation from Germantown Friends School which is located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood in 1994. Then she attended Harvard College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. Welker is married to John Hughes a well-known marketing director at Merck located in Philadelphia and the couple has two kids. In 2014, they started dating. John his husband, John's father is a year older than him. Since their relationship was well-established, they decided to move on to the next step. In March of 2017, the couple tied the knot. Philadelphia Pennsylvania was the location of their wedding. In the Hyatt the couple held the wedding of a lifetime. Family and close friends were invited to the party.
